Golden Knights Defenseman Brayden McNabb's Mother Expresses Joy at Son's Success

"It Was One of the Happiest I've Ever Seen Him"

Jeanine McNabb Shares Insight into Her Son's Journey

LAS VEGAS (AP) - Vegas Golden Knights fans can breathe a collective sigh of relief knowing that defenseman Brayden McNabb can continue to play the game he loves. The 26-year-old recently underwent surgery to repair a torn labrum, but his mother, Jeanine McNabb, says he's already on the mend and anxious to get back on the ice.

"It was one of the happiest I've ever seen him," said Jeanine McNabb of her son's reaction to the successful surgery. "He was so relieved that he could finally get back to playing hockey."

McNabb has been a key part of the Golden Knights' success since joining the team in 2017. He's a physical presence on the ice, known for his hard-hitting style of play. Off the ice, he's a devoted family man and a role model for young hockey players.

"He's always been a very determined kid," said Jeanine McNabb. "He set his goals early on and he's never given up on them."

McNabb is expected to miss the first few weeks of the regular season, but his mother is confident he'll be back on the ice soon, ready to help the Golden Knights make another run at the Stanley Cup.
