The Colorado Avalanche captain Gabriel Landeskog is back in Denver after the team's recent road trip. Landeskog has been out of the lineup since March 15th with a lower-body injury.
The Avalanche have gone 5-2-1 in Landeskog's absence, but the team is hoping to get their captain back as soon as possible.
"He's a big part of our team," Avalanche coach Jared Bednar said. "He's our captain, he's our leader, and he's a big part of our success."
Landeskog is expected to be re-evaluated in the coming days, and the Avalanche are hopeful that he will be able to return to the lineup soon.
